Scope
Sapaad Pte. Ltd., and its subsidiaries and its affiliates ("Sapaad") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains the type of Personal Data we collect, how we collect, for what purpose we use the Personal Data, and measures taken to protect the Personal Data submitted and collected by Sapaad in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act ("PDPA"). We also describe the rights and choices available to you regarding the use of the Personal Data.
The privacy policy applies to the Personal data that we collect or is provided to us:
- when you visit Sapaad's website or which we obtain through any communications with you; or
- when you sign up for Sapaad's Product and/or Services
Personal Data means the information about you from which you could be identified- such as your name, date of birth, email address, address, IP address and even technical data such as browser type, version, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this website etc.
Data Controller. This Privacy Policy describes our role as a ‘controller’ of Personal Data.
Data Collection
We collect personal data in number of ways, including through
2.1 Data that you provide to us voluntarily through direct interactions (such as via phone, email or while visiting our office etc.) in connection with the following:
Interest in Services. If you have an interest in obtaining information about our services; request customer support; contact us; opting to receive marketing information with us; creating an online account with us; register to use our websites; sign up for an event, webinar, demonstration of our services or contests; or download content, we may require that you provide to us your contact information (name, title, company name, address, phone number, email address or username);
Purchases. If you make purchases via our website or register for an event or webinar, we may require that you provide to us your financial and billing information, such as billing name and address, credit card number or bank account information;
Data Collection Tools
Cookies, Web Beacons and other Tracking Technologies.
We use technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags, and JavaScript, alone or in conjunction with cookies, to gather information about the use of our websites and how people interact with our emails.
When you visit our websites, we, or an authorized third party, may place a cookie on your device that collects information, including Personal Data, about your online activities over time and across different sites. Cookies allow us to track use, infer browsing preferences, and improve and customize your browsing experience.
Uses
We rely on authorized legal bases (such as, performance of a contract or legitimate interest) to collect and process your Personal Data, unless consent is required by law.
Websites and Services. We process your Personal Data to perform our contract with you for the use of our websites and services and to fulfill our contractual obligations; if we have not entered into a contract with you, we base the processing of your Personal Data on our legitimate interest to operate and administer our websites and to provide you with content you access and request (e.g., to download content from our websites);
Contact and User Support. If you request support, or if you contact us by other means including via a phone call or webform, we process your Personal Data to perform our contract and to the extent it is necessary for our legitimate interest in fulfilling your requests and communicating with you;
Disclosure and Sharing
Service Providers. With our contracted service providers, who provide services such as IT and system administration and hosting, credit card processing, research and analytics, marketing, video hosting and processing and customer support;
Your Affiliates. If you use our services as a user, we may share your Personal Data with your affiliated customer responsible for your access to the services to the extent this is necessary for verifying accounts and activity, investigating suspicious activity, or enforcing our terms and policies;
Your Rights
We will only send you marketing communications if you “opted in” to receiving such communications. You have the right to “opt out” of receiving marketing communications, whether by email or otherwise, at any time. You can do this by (i) clicking the unsubscribe link displayed in any of the marketing e-mails you receive, (ii) emailing privacy@sapaad.com to indicate you no longer wish to receive marketing communications, or (iii) writing to us at the relevant address set out in How to contact us below.
Other Terms
Protection of Personal Data. While we use industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, access, disclosure and alteration of the Personal Data under our control, there is no guarantee that it cannot be compromised. For your own protection, we encourage you to not include sensitive personal data, credit card, or similar personal data in any email you send us or our staff.
No Children Under Age 13. We do not intentionally gather Personal Data about visitors who are under the age of 13.
No Contractual Rights. This Privacy Policy is not a contract and does not create any contractual rights or obligations.
