How to identify my actual food cost?
Identifying your actual food cost allows you to maximize your profits. To calculate your actual food cost:
Step 1: Visit Dashboard > Inventory
Step 2: Expand the Theoretical Stock Report.
Step 3: Select Filter by Value.
Step 4: Divide your Closing Stock Value by your Total Sales Value to get your actual food cost.
Note: You can also export and download the report by simply clicking the export button on the top right. Access and download your exported report for a period of 7 days by selecting Saved Reports.
